No marketplace algorithms. No scripted lesson plans. Just proper teaching from someone who has spent a career doing exactly this.

Start at your actual level

Beginner, rusty, intermediate or advanced. A short chat finds the right starting point.

MSA or Levantine, your call

Modern Standard for formal settings. Levantine for real conversations. I teach both.

Every lesson weaves in customs, humour and context. You learn a people, not just a language.

Student stories

Real people, real conversations.

★★★★★
"My daughter went into her GCSE oral exam genuinely confident, which is more than I ever hoped for. Suzanne didn't just teach her the spec, she taught her to actually speak the language. The difference in Eliza's confidence over six months was remarkable."
Sarah
Mum to a GCSE Arabic student
★★★★★
"I came in after two failed attempts with apps and marketplace tutors. Suzanne worked out in twenty minutes what I'd been getting wrong and rebuilt my foundation from there. I can now hold proper conversations with my Lebanese clients in their own language."
James
Consultant working in MENA
★★★★★
"I grew up listening to my grandparents speak Arabic but never properly learnt it. Suzanne has been endlessly patient with a grown woman embarrassed to be a beginner. I finally feel I'm reclaiming something that was mine all along."

Questions, answered

Before you book

Do I need to know any Arabic to start?

Not at all. Most of my students begin as complete beginners. The first lessons cover sounds, the alphabet, and useful phrases, all at a pace that suits you.

MSA or Levantine, which should I choose?

Modern Standard Arabic is the formal version used in books, news and across the Arab world. Levantine is the spoken dialect of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine. I'll help you choose in the taster based on why you're learning.

How are lessons delivered?

Online over Zoom, wherever you are in the UK. You'll get a reminder before each session and any materials we use in your inbox afterwards.

Do you teach GCSE Arabic?

Yes, for both AQA and Edexcel specifications. I cover written papers, speaking exam prep, past papers and exam technique.

How much do lessons cost?

Private 1:1 lessons are £30 per hour, and group lessons (2-6 students) are £20 per hour. Packages are available: 5 hours for £125, 10 hours for £230, 20 hours for £400. Refer a friend and each of you gets a 10% discount on your first package.
